Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Loletia Cooper Soul of Meridian a daughter, Loletia Henson of Marianna, Fla. In later years, he also worked as a realtor, boat broker and a shrimper. Soul was a long time resident of Gulfport where he owned and operated Bob Soul Flying Service at Gulfport field. He attended Central Baptist Church in Meridian. He was a former member of the Civil Air Patrol and the Gulfport Kiwanis. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He served in North Africa and the China-Burma theaters as a transport pilot in World War II. Soul, 88, of Meridian, died Monday, Sept. "Bobby" Soul will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. Visitation will be in today from 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Matthew Davis, Jonathan Davis, Brad Davis, Christopher Davis, Mike Alexander and Johnny McCormick. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Ivor Davis and her parents, Earl Francis and Analda Green McMahon. grandsons, Matthew Davis of Livingston, Tenn., Jonathan Davis of Laurel, Brad Davis and Christopher Davis, both of Alvin, Texas, and Samuel Davis of Batesville. Survivors include her sons, Wayne Davis and his wife, Joni, of Laurel, Glenn Davis and his wife, Wyonna, of Alvin, Texas, and Kerry Davis of Batesville a sister, Edna Earl Swartz of Birmingham, Ala. She was a retired office manager for Newton Company after more than 38 years and a member of Antioch Christian Church. Burial will be in Newton County Memorial Gardens Cemetery. He was an employee of Lauderdale County for more than 14 years. He loved camping, fishing and motorcycle riding. Woodall, 49, of Meehan, died Monday, Sept. Services for Michael George Woodall will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Visitation will be Thursday 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to the cemetery fund of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Addison Hudson her parents, Ruben and Caroline Hodgins sisters, Mayola Vaughn and Irene Hodges. Survivors include her brothers, Arnold Hodgins and his wife, Juanice, of Meridian, George Hodgins and his wife, Dean, of Collinsville and several nieces, nephews, seven great-nieces and great-nephews. She always loved tending her yard and will be remembered as a very loving aunt.
